Hi people,

I have a question about your Force 3D. Does your stick stand straight up all by itself?

Mine is tilted to the right a bit. Looking at the rubber boot, there is about a 1/4 inch space between the boot and the stick. When in the Joystick Test panel, putting your mouse in the upper left hand box gives the X and Y coordinates. What are yours? Mine is +25%, +8%, on a flat surface.

Basically, I have to hold it to center. It will not default itself to center. I am just wondering if this is normal...

I appreciate your input..thanks

No, this is not normal! It should centre straight immediately once your hand covers the sensor. Best get a replacement via guarantee etc...

I have noticed that after about two months of use (not particularly heavy use) that the force feedback has gotten a lot weaker, even after increasing the settings in whatever game I'm playing. Shortish lifespan, it would seem 🙁

I have the original Wingman Force that came out about 2 years ago. I've had mine for about since Feb of 1999, and it still hasn't seemed to lose it's strength. I don't game with it much, but used to play the hell out of Descent: Freespace with it.
