I am using Winfax Pro 10.02 on Windows XP SP3. Today the following message pops up whenever I try to start Winfax: Another user on this computer is using Winfax. Please try again later.
In the task manager there are no applications running. In the processes tab there seemed to be one process that was associated with Winfax and I stopped that but I got the same message. Rebooting doesn't solve the problem. Nobody else has logged into this computer under any other name.
Has anyone seen this before? Symantec does not support Winfax anymore so I cannot find anything on their web site.
The only posting on the web I found wanted me to pay for a subscription to get the answer.
