Winfax Basic v10 incompatible with Outlook 2003.

I had MS Office 2003 installed and all was well, then I installed Winfax Basic from Norton Systemworks 2002 Pro.
Now when I exit from Outlook 2003 it leaves an icon in the system tray that I can remove only by killing the process outlook.exe.

If I try to restart outlook 2003 without first killing the old outlook.exe process, it will start another process named outlook.exe (listing two of these in the Windows Task Manager | Processes tab list). With two processes named outlook.exe running Outlook 2003 will not open a window until I kill one of the two duplicate processes.

Note: inside the "All Mail Folders" pane inside Outlook 2003 there is now a folder named "Winfax fax logs" which hanges Outlook 2003 if I click on it. In the Windows Task Manager Applications tab, "Inbox - Microsoft Outlook" is now "Not Responding".

I am going to try to fix this by uninstalling Winfax Basic and then if necessary removing the above mentioned folder from the "All Mail Folders" pane.
I will post a progress report after I do these things.

With Outlook 2003 NOT running, I went to Uninstall Winfax Basic. The uninstall feature of WinXP failed for a reason I neglected to write down, but it couldn't. I tried the uninstall feature again but now...
Unable to locate the installation log file 'C:\Program Files\WinFax\WFXUNIST.ISU'.
Uninstallation will not continue.
I proceeded to delete all the files in the "C:\Program Files\winfax" folder including the folders but several files could not be deleted.
Those files are:
PSAPI.DLL
WFXSEH32.DLL
WFXSWTCH.exe,
so I can't delete the \winfax folder.
However, Outlook 2003 starts and exits normally now without the above mentioned folder inside the "All Mail Folders" pane.
I ran Norton SystemWorks 2003 to clean up the remaining pieces.

Last problem that's apparent is -- when I start Outlook 2003 I get the following pop-up:
'C:\Documents and Settings\Mark\Application Data\Microsoft\AddIns\wfoladin.dll' is not a valid Office Add-in.
This file is in the Recycle bin and was located in "C:\Program Files\winfax". Well, not anymore as I just emptied the recycle bin.

Now I'm going to install Window XP's fax software and see what happens.
Update edit: Installation of XP fax software went smoothly. I hope it works now after removing Winfax Basic, and I hope it allows attached .jpg files from my scanner.

Does anyone know where I can post this problem so I can get some attention from Microsoft?

Symantec's software sucks. Almost all of their recent software releases has caused nothing but trouble. Norton 2004, Winfax, PCAnywhere. Seriously....what is up with them here lately? I remember if you used PCAnywhere 9 on a Win2k system, you CANNOT go over service pack 2 or it would hose the system. Installing PCAnywhere 10 on a WinXP system would disable some of the XP type features, it also causes our servers to lock up eventually if running Sunbelt Remote Admin along side of it. Norton 2000 locked up Win98 machines like crazy here at work. Norton 2004 has hosed some systems too along with their "Activeation" messing things up and not activating like it should. Purchasing a subscription was bothersome with antivirus updates because you can't take it with you if the system messes up or you have to reinstall. You have to then call their tech support about your subscription. Also, the new PCAnywhere 11 has been a major step down in performance from running version 10 no matter how you tweak it.
