WINFAX? 48 hr of utter FRUSTRATION

We originally bought Winfax for one computer to receive faxes. It shut itself off routinely every afternoon around 3:00. So we bought a new Dell (due to some blue screen issues) and bought Multi-User Winfax, the idea being that we could send forms and faxes right from each PC as well as receiving inbound faxes more efficiently. This Winfax also shuts itself down routinely around 2:00pm.

For the last two days, Winfax has disconnected the fax over20xper day. Today it stopped receiving fax es altogether. Grrrrr!!!!

Anyone else having this wacky experience with Winfax? Any known fixes??
Thanks for any help.

Yes, it's Win Fax Pro 10? w/ 5 user licenses. What did you think was junk about it? Do you think an Ethernet card to make the Printer a Fax Server and a Print Server would make it work? We love the concept but hate the execution.

Read the Cnet reviews about it. 90% of the people think it is GARBAGE.

I tried to use it a while back and could never get it to work right. I gave up and bought a fax machine.

Hmmmm, don't know what the problem could be, I used Winfax for awhile on multiple machines and it worked fine.

BUT... you can get a fax machine for about $70. Why bother with the software at all???

winfax does suck, especially since it hasn't been updated since 1999. Just spent three hours trying to get the POS to work on win xp, grrrrr!

Hmm, I have Winfax 10 installed on my laptop and my main Pc and it works ok. I don't have the recieve faxes feature turned on all day though. The only problem I had was in regards to Office 2003 and the Winfax Logs. I had to remove the Winfax logs from Office 2003 because it kept causing Office to stop responding. The other choice would be to buy FaxTalk Messenger 6.0. I have that as well and it is rock solid.
