Winfast TV2000XP Users - Help Needed!

I have just purchased the Winfast TV2000XP Deluxe card,, but I experience a "white edge" in recorded videos using the MPEG2 Optimum Profile.
Does this happen to you too?

Also, searching the channels on Cable TV input "Adaptively" takes forever (nearly 30 mins and not finished), is there a way around this?

Do you also experience crashes when installing the card?

Where does the white edge appear in your recorded videos? Sometimes I will get some white thingys moving horizontally across the top of my videos. These can be cropped out using most encoding programs when you go to remove commercials/re-encode.

As for the channel searching, do you know which channels you want? I would suggest going through the channels and selecting them manually if the adaptive search is taking too long.

i used the composite video mostly and the tuner for scheduled programs, i manually programed the tuner.

yes. the drivers/app combo on the CD sent my computer into a rebooting loop... had to get the drivers and app in seperate form off the ftp site and install them one at a time.

The software you get from Leadtek's website works fine and supports one of the best features of this card which is the remote.
