WinFast TV2000XP sound problem...help please!

Sup all, I'm having a wierd prob with my Winfast TV2000XP. After like 30 seconds of watching TV the sound just stops...it's always at the same time when it does it. When I restart the prog the sound comes back on for another 30 secs and bugs out. This never happend before, but I just re-installed it after a reformat a while ago. Anyway...I've got it connected through by SB Live value. I'm just using that PVR stuff that came with it.

This is a fairly well known problem...at least well-known enough for pathetic Leadtek support to post the answer in an FAQ on their website:

5.) TV2000xp. sound cuts off after 20 to 30 second of watching a program.
Norton anti-virus 2003 is causing that problem because it is protecting MSN messenger. The easiest thing to do is to disable Norton AntiVirus from protecting MSN Instant Messenger under the "Instant Messenger" options under Norton anti-virus 2003.
