WinFast TV2000 XP Expert problems

Just bought this card today from a fellow ATer and I'm having quite a few problems honestly.

First off, the audio of clips that I capture is horrible quality. I've tried changing the audio capture source, tried turning it down, and tried different settings. Nothing has worked. It sounds fine in playback but when I record and then play back what I've recorded it's horrible.

Second, I can't multitask or even single task sometimes. I always get a Windows error popup and while I could just ignore it and leave the program open, there has to be some way to fix this so that it doesn't happen at all. I've tried the default drivers on the CD as well as both updated drivers, and none of the three sets work. It usually happens when I open another program while the PVR program is open. It's a bit of a pain.

If anyone has quick solutions to these problems please let me know.

I used to use that tuner (well, the 'Deluxe' one, not the 'Expert' one) before I got an HDTV tuner, but I don't think I ever had problems like that...

Hope you're able to get them fixed though.

Chipset-IRQ clashing comes to mind. What motherboard do you have, what PCI slot is the card in, and what other PCI cards (if any) do you have?

A-BIT IS7-E
1st PCI slot
1394 Card in the 5th PCI slot
Move the cards to PCI slots 2 and 3 and see what effect that has.
