I just installed this WinFast Leadtech Gforce2 64 MHz DDR in my 1 Gig Tbird puter. According to the bundled software system monitor this card is idling at around 66 C and goes up moderately to about 68 or 69 C playing games. It's running @ 66 MHz. I have all the BIOS set per their web site. Anyone else have this card and running at this temp?? I wonder what will happpen when this room gets 15 degrees hotter in the summer?? It's got a whaopper of a heatsinkfan combo so I'm surprised at this heat!! My puter is open at the moment and I got a good case fan blowindirectly under this card. Anyone have any ideas if this is abnormal or what I can do bout it???

66mhz as in your FSB?

I wouldn't worry about it, I have a winfast GF2 and never had a heat problem. (and I am overclocking it by more than 20%).
Chances are, the system monitoring software is not very accurate.

You could get a cardcooler if you are still worried.

I just built this sys and so I'm not oc yet but will soon. I have already had the heat alarm go off when running @ 1280 x 960 which i didnt think was way outta line for combat flight sim 2. I live in sunny CAL and it gets hot here in the summer so this room gets to about 85 C. I wonder what this card will do then?! So how do ya like this card?? Anything I should know bout??

Put yer hand near the video card and see if it has alot of heat around the chip. Its most likly the software. Software monitoring programs always have inaccuracies monitoring temps of certain computer setups.

The card is very warm to the touch on the edge as well as on the surface (where there ic no circuitry) but no where near 150 F or more which is what the software is telling me.
