Fiancee works for them and gets an allowance to sample their brands We're getting married in october and are planning on picking up a case of red and a case of white for the wedding using her allowance.

Anyone wine oriented feel like taking a look at their wine brands and giving a recommendation? We're looking to spend about 150 max per case.

Right now we're looking at just a case of each, but it looks like krogers offers a 10% case discount and considers 6 bottles to be a case, in which case - we might get 18 bottles of red and 18 of white.

Fiancee is leaning towards little black dress.

need help soon, need to buy tonight/tomorrow because her allowance is getting reset on april 1.

Thanks! - oh and I'm in kentucky so no wine shipments

Sonoma-Cutrer Chard for a white, can't help you with a red. They have a less than good selection.

Spell it right. Brown-Forman.

Any of the Fetzer wines should suit you. Chardonnay and Merlot. Mainly because they're decent wine for cheap and will go with anything.

well, I ran out of time and we bought already. We got Bonterra Cab Sav and Sav Blanc.

I've had the red before and it wasn't bad, the grapes are organic. We lean to dry wines and I get to keep any leftovers the guests don't drink. The Kroger Spirit Shop in louisville(we dont have one in lexington) offers a 10% case discount on every 6 bottles, so we got 12 of the cab savs(they only had one 2005 though, the rest are 06's - the 05 is going on my table!) and 6 of the blanc. Ran $209, and she has about $205 left in her reimbursement fund, so lots of free wine for us. Next week the counter will go back up to $300 and we'll get the rest of the blancs, debate getting an extra 6 of each and then load up on old forrester and woodford reserve to burn up the rest.
