Are you talking about the proof? Wine is stronger than beer in that regard. But if your going for what tastes best, get candy alcohol, they discise the alcohol by tasting well good.

I don't know crap about wine coolers, but Beer goes from like 4% for pilsners and such, up to about 10% for some tripples, quadruples, abts, and porters.
