man last night I split a small bottle of Cabernet with my GF. Then I drank about 5 Coronas, and then I decided to top that off with a RedBull & Vodka (heavy on the Vodka).

Needless to say, I was 'praying to the porcelean (sp?) god' last night.

I was too sick to remember...I woke up early and downed a bunch of water + 4 excedrin. I am feeling better.

my first night in costa rica on a foreign exhange trip, I had two glasses of wine before drinking some beers at the bar followed by tequila shots. I ended up puking all over the floor and in my roomates shoes. The maid cleaned for floor happily for the equivilant of 50 cents, my roomate very quickly became my ex-roomate and we didn't speak the entire 6 week trip.

You cheapass!!! Someone that cleans YOUR puke on the ground and you only give 50 cents??!?!! Thats at least a $20 tip...cleanin up puke is disgusting!
and your roomate is a total ass...wont talk to you for 6 weeks cause you puked in his shoes..what a prick.

it sort of has some truth in the fact that say you are full of beer and start doing shots, really easy to overconsume.

If you are already up on shots, drinking a beer takes a little longer so you get more warning when you have had enough.

both in any combo can make you just as sick and any other combo.

Ehh...I've never understood this. On several occasions, just to disprove this, I've drank beer, wine, liquor, beer, liquor, wine, wine, liquor, beer, wine, beer...etc., and have never had this so-called dreaded hangover. I've had horrendous hangovers, yes...just not from combining different kinds of alcohol.

Hmmmm....I've never had a problem. A certain "14 shots of tequila episode" comes to mind. I had a few beers before my wife's cousin broke out the tequila and talked me into doing shots with him. I woke up still pretty buzzed, but I didn't puke or have a headache. :D

Last weekend, I drank a bunch of leftover beers in the fridge and killed the last of a bottle of Cuervo in between beers. Got pretty drunk but no puking...

No, I'm not an alcoholic, and yes, I do have a high tolerance for alcohol. It also helps immensely if you start drinking with a full stomach.

Maybe you're just a lightweight. :D

I had the worst hangover of my life on a campout once from drinking too much (I lost count but I'd guess something in the neighborhood of 3 six-packs). No hard liquor was involved.

There was also the time I put WAY too much Bacardi in a huge glass of Pepsi (didn't have any Coke handy) and ended up outside puking my guts out and laying in it for 5 minutes before I felt well enough to drag my stinky ass inside, wash my clothes and take a shower. No beer was involved, just the Bacardi.

2 worst puking episodes(i'm a lightweight):

4 double shots of $20/shot tequila in 1 hour at spy bar in downtown nyc. started puking in their bathroom at 0300. they had to kick me out of the bathroom because it was 0400 and they were closing. continued puking in front of bar. luckily i stayed awake until i wasn't drunk anymore and had a sh!tload of water so no hangover.

foster's, 2xredBull/vodka, champagne, shooter + no food + no sleep + jet lag in 1 hour in london at new year's eve party in islington bar(pitcher & piano or something). started puking at 2230 and they kicked me out of the bathroom because i was in the stall for about an hour. i sat on the stairs and felt awful and missed the countdown to midnight and everything. stayed up till i wasn't drunk and had a lot of water so no hangover then either.

Worst puking was probably when I slammed two Mickey's 40ozs and smoked a couple joints. Was hungover for quite a while the next day. I didn't drink much but slamming them and smoking did me in. Combining those two tends to really mess one up.

pussy. You should be able to handle more than that ;) i know how you feel. sometimes in the "heat of the drinking moment" you don't know your limits and you pay dearly.

oh and the saying goes, "Beer before liquor, never been sicker....liquor then beer, you're in the clear". although that saying is totally untrue, and i know from experience unfortunately.
