Current wind speed at 35 miles an hour, gusts above 45.

Our grain elevator's office building is losing its tin roof piece by piece. They're getting caught in the power lines along the highway. We had ice and snow last night, so there's not much traffic, and the building is on the south edge of town. Thank God for small favors, or a bad situation could be much worse.

Update: The pieces have stopped coming off, but we're in a wind advisory until 5pm.

 
Yeah, it'sa windy here too. I'm too lazy to go check on the roof though. I'll wait till the wind dies down a bit.
 
Lost a tree out at the farm - just missed the house.

It needed to be cut down anyway. Too bad I don't have a fireplace. 🙁
