WinDVR Closed caption with S-Video?

Anyone know if it's possible to turn on closed captioning when using S-Video as the source?

I have my DirecTV running through S-Video on my AIW but the closed captioning option is greyed out and only comes available when i switch to "TV" mode which uses the coax input (yuck!).
