based on the comparison below taken from microsoft

Scalable processor support ? up to two-way multi-processor support.

will HOME be able to fully support my Hyperthreading CPU?

if im gona HOME, what important features i may lose compared to PRO?

btw this will be used in an internet cafe environment with systems build for gaming purpose thats why the HT cpus used

Thanks...

It supports both HT and multi-core CPUs.

In my opinion there is little for the home user in the PRO edition. There is one significant drawback when using Home Edition though: you have to reactivate your Windows at nearly every hardware change and also the reactivations are limited in a given time period (3 activations in 3 months or something like that). The last time I was asked by Home Edition for a NEW product code for altering my configuration I erased it and threw the install CD away. If you are not going to alter your rig too often then Home Edition is for you.

Not quite understanding the above statement....HT CPUs for gaming???....where have u been hiding for the last 18months?? A64 CPUs are the gamers choice at the moment....

With HT processors I doubt you will get much if any benefit from the HT part as not many games are dual/multi threaded!!

But realistically...unless you have an A64 and a P4 sitting beside each other you will be happy wiith either choice

He's referring to your mentioning the use of HT enabled processors for the expressed purpose of games. HT does increase gaming performance, as none are multithreaded.

Followed with,
