I have an Athlon 64 but i'll prolly wait until summer time to reformat and install the new Win64.

I said it before but It's worth saying again. Windows 64-bit edition is the first operating system that a large number of people are wanting to install that actually hurt system performance. I only hope the real benifits of having 64-bit start to show itself before the novailty of having a 64-bit O/S wears off

I tried it with my system and it didn't like my nVidia card at all. It kept saying it didn't exist when I attempted to install the appropriate drivers. It's not ready for RTM, IMHO.

Um, the benchmarks have shown winxp 64bit to be FASTER than the 32 bit one in just about everything EXCEPT games. The reason it is slower in games is because ATI/Nvidia have not been making new drivers for win64 atm.

Has anyone tried the latest officials from nVidia they are suppose to officially support WinXP 64-bit.
