Windows7 & Sapphire RadeonX800GTO?

Sorry for the Old tech but this old card is still working fine in my second system I cannot find Drivers for Windows 7 64 or 32. Was wondering if I have to use Win XP64 just to use the component out function or not and will Windows 7 work OK with this card has anyone tryed it? Thnk you for your help!

Well I guess I`ll be running XP 64 then I was hoping for more but it is old Thnks for the info.

Have you actually tried it? My PCI-E X1300 cards work pretty decently in Windows 7 with the built-in out-of-box drivers. I don't know if there is an ATI driver available for those cards that works with Windows 7.

you can try the WDDM 1.0 drivers

(vista and 7 are the same 10.2 WDDM 1.0)


theoretically they should work on windows 7 and 8.

AMD support for old cards is awful,

The 10.2 drivers (latest available for this card) were also the first to support CAPs, meaning despite the driver's age, you can at least still make use of the latest CAPs for at least some of the benefits that come from newer drivers.
