Windows2000 Professional & Visio2000 Pro?

I've got a fresh load of Win2000Pro on a DELL laptop. I installed Visio2000Pro on it and I'm getting lockups in Visio. I've talked to others in the company who have used Visio2000 (not Pro) on Win2000Pro but no one has tried the combo I've got. I tried a reinstall and had Admin rights both times. Same result.

I checked MS's site and found nothing about an incompatibility between the two and it appears there's no patch available that would fix it. Any ideas?

That was my first thought. Unfortunately my office uses a 4-modem pool (I'm not kidding) for internet access. I can't take my bosses laptop away for that long while I download all of the updates. I offered to take it to my house, slap it on my little LAN w/cablemodem access, apply all the patches, and bring it back the next day. He said don't worry about it. With this little problem that's probably what I'll be doing next week.
