So I recently got my hands on a free HP t5700 thin client and wish to turn it into a car PC. I've done my homework and labored long and hard to figure out the ropes to compiling my own Windows XPe image for this device and I think I have it all together aside from one thing...
I can't figure out how to flash the new image onto the client!
I've exhausted everything in terms of google searches and I can't find any easy way to do this. Pretty much my only option for doing this is with a USB thumb drive, as the client has no CD-Rom or floppy connectors and for whatever reason refuses to pull an IP address from my router.
I have the HP Thin Client Imaging Tool (which flashes a thumb drive and makes it bootable) to load the stock HP OS however it uses a rather obscure .img format and I have no idea how to create one of my own.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
