Windows XP64 on 2nd drive?

I have done alot of searching and reading trying to figure out if I want to take the plunge into the XP 64.

From what I have gathered its a major pain till you get the right drivers.

Would it be better to install a 2nd drive and use the 64 on it till I get all the drivers and stuff to make it work right or is still not worth messing with?

Its only good for 1 year right?
 
It's still beta so like any beta software I wouldn't rely on it for my primary machine. I would put it in another drive or partition if I were doing it. I honestly wish I had an A64 CPU so I can.

The install is good for 365 days.
