Windows XP x64 bit edition!

I was reading some of the reviews on Newegg about the 64 bit edition of winxp. Applications/Windows loads 2ice as fast for 64 bit procs. THAT SOUNDS AMAZING!
Despite the usual complaint: NO DRIVERS WAH WAH does anyone have it yet? I havent bothered installing because on the windows site (U can dl 64 for free if you have a valid xp pro license key btw. check it out) it claims you must format ur HDD.
Since formatting is the biggest hassle next to backing up, i dont wanna bother. Anyway, has anyone been to the promised land and wanna share?
