Windows XP: WTF is that typing noise?

Every once in a while, I'm just sitting here dicking around on the internet (IE6 on WinXP) and I hear this weird-ass typing/clicking sound come over the speakers. It seems like nothing I did could have triggered it. So I went through the whole sound assignment menu in control panel, and I didn't find this particular sound. WTF? Is my computer haunted and/or possessed by Satan?

Probably not Satan...he usually plays soundbytes from 'Hollywood Squares' or the Joan and Melissa Rivers show. Probably just a haunting from one of the minor demons, like Corey Haim or Mark 'Skippy' Price. Help them find a job and they'll leave you alone.

I've seen banner ad's that make that noise. It's possible that the sound feature for a banner ad is only available for IE6, which is why it's new to you.

Go back in the control panel/sounds and audio/sounds and check out Start Navigation all the way towards the bottom under Windows Explorer.
