windows xp won't install

I have no idea what the problem is.

S754 AMD 3400+
Solek SL-K8AN2E-GR
Seagate IDE 80gb
eVGA 6800 GT
Antec 430w truepower
Corsair dual pack 1gb

I've tried every different way possible to install.

I'm reusing an old Creative 12x DVD optical drive, its that or the disc itself are my only thoughts at why it won't go. Any reason why it would keep saying the install disc does not contain "drvindex.inf"?

I'm at a complete loss, and I'm really bummed my new setup isn't working.

I've seen that before on a burned / slipstreamed copy install. I just ignored it and finished the install and everything worked fine. ??
