Hello everyone, i just put together my first system and i have a pretty big question. Alright, when i go to install Windows XP i start up the computer with the XP cd in my cd-rom drive...and it gets to the part where it boots from the cd. Now i choose to partition and format my WD se 80gb hard-drive in NTFS format and after its done with that it installs the proper windows files to my hdd. And then it goes to that screen that says it'll reboot the computer in 15 seconds to finish setup. Well when my computer restarts it just goes straight back to the Blue Windows XP start-up screen and wont boot from my hdd so i can actually start installing Windows XP. The only things i have changed in the BIOS are my FSB to 133 and the order of my boot devices are floppy, hdd, cd-rom. Now i figured it would try and boot from my hdd first and still nothing. I have my hdd on primary IDE channel set at master, and my cd-rom is on the second IDE channel as master, any ideas on why it wont get past booting from the cd after i install the windows files for setup? My system rig is as follows:
Epox 8rda+ Rev. 1.1
