I just got new parts for my computer. I think I set everything up properly (I have built a few before)

My parts were:
AMD 64-bit 3000+
ASUS K8N mobo
1GB 400MHz DDR RAM
128MB ASUS N6600 video card
80g Seagate IDE HD
52x Sony CDRW

Now this is the problem....I downloaded the windows xp x64 from microsoft, burnt it to a cd and tried to boot from it.

only seconds after the setup starts loading files it stops. It doesn't give me an error message, it just stops copying files. I can leave it for 30min and it will still say it is copying the same file. Other times I get an error saying that a file could not be copied.

I have tried making a 2nd cd and I have the same problems.
I also tried my OEM xp cd and it does the same thing :(

I am out of ideas so far. Tried different HD, different CD drive, different RAM configs, different BIOS version and different video cards.

Any suggestions?
