Windows XP svchost.exe application error???????

well, it happened yesterday for the first time... it popped out of no where.. today it happened again.. both time were when i was on IRC. A new server and channel i have never been to... basically what im asking is... is there a way to fix it? and what possibly caused it?.. maybe scripts?? anyways here is some more info on what happened

That was in my event viewer list

also when the error occured it gave me a minute to reboot xp or it would do it auto matically. something about Generic Host Process for Win32 Services

if anyone has even experienced this crash before please let me know.. ive been running xp for over a year now (ive reformatted since then) and this is the first time ive ever had this before. so i dont know if its something to worry about or its just one of those crashes that occur every once in a while
