Windows XP Start Menu..

dawks

I like the new Windows XP start menu, but how can I get the 'All Programs' fly-out to stay in one line..

On the old start menus, if the Programs fly-out got to big for the screen, filled with lots of stuff, there would be an arrow at the bottom where you could move the mouse over, and the menu would scroll up or down through the programs. Now in XP the menu just expands to show more programs.. making it huge! I dont like it, is there a way to change to the old style Programs fly-out without switching back to the old style start menu?

Ok, I honestly did look for a fix before, but I wasnt looking hard enough, I just looked and found it myself.

Go Start Menu, Right-Click on a clear space, Choose Properties, Click the Customize Button, Change to the Advanced Tab, in the Start Menu Items: box, scroll down till you find the check box "Scroll Programs"

Check it, click ok, click apply.
Problem solved!

Perhaps someone could add this to our WindowsXP FAQ? Thanks!
