Windows XP: Start Menu Help

fearQuestion

Hey, I've been searching through several "Tips and Tricks" sites and I cannot find a way to get rid of the little scroll feature in the start menu. It hides the bottom part of the "Programs" section when I have too many entries forcing me to click on the little arrow to see the rest of the programs. How do I get rid of this? Sorry for the novice question, I'm still trying to get acquinted w/ this new OS. Thanks in advance.

Right click on the taskbar, go to properties, then click the start menu tab. Click the customize button, then the advanced tab. Look for the Scroll Programs box, and uncheck it.

If you are using the classic start menu, when you click customize, uncheck the use personalized menus box.
