Windows XP SP2 Start Menu acting strange

Hey all. I recently had some Wifi driver issues in WinXP SP2, which made it necessary to uninstall/reinstall my Intel 2200BG WiFi drivers.

That problem is solved...but strangely after uninstalling my old wifi drivers, it screwed up my Start Menu.

It cleared out the list of icons to my most commonly used applications. No matter how many times I open any of them, my list stays blank. Has anyone ever run across this problem before or know of a possible fix short of re-installing the entire operating system? I am out of town working, and a complete reinstall is not really an option at this point.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You might have tried this already, but I'd try and see if it screwed up the recent programs setting. Just in case you don't know how to get there, right-click the taskbar>Properties> Start Menu> Customize> then see how many programs it shows in the drop down menu under the Programs section. Hope this helps.
