Hello!

ok, I've had a couple of bluetooth devices but windows seems to take over and prevents them from working properly. If I don't install any drivers bundled with the device windows installs generic drivers. I can send files to other bluetooth devices but when I try to receive a file, the device trying to send the file states that my computer does not have sufficient services and the sending fails.

The thing is the same happens when I install the drivers bundled with the bluetooth device. For example I have a Belkin bluetooth dongle and when I plug it in after installing the device and go to the icon from the Belkin software it states that it cannot find the device. The little windows bluetooth icon does state that it can communicate with the device but it has all the problems as stated above.

How can I stop windows taking over and installing the dodgy generic drivers?

thanks in advance!
