hey

ok ive got this problem where everytime i install my cable modem, it works as soon as i install it but then as soon as i reboot, it then wont connect again and says it has limited or no connectivity at all. ive tried copying down the ip addresses and everything and then manually configuring them but then it shows its connected but wont access the internet at all. i have also tried the powersave function and turning it of for all the USB ports since its a USB cable modem. every time i want to use the internet i have to go to the windows restore point jsut before i installed the modem :/. im using windows xp with sp2
can someone please help me with these problem?
 
I think you need to contact your isp or try a different computer because of the possibility of sp2 issues.
