Windows Xp Setup Prob

I Have Reformated In The Past Everything worked smoothly, I usally just reinstall windows is same partion so I still have all my data. Well this time did same thing and Cant get to it, I see my old folder like username and everything but When I try to open the folder I get a message saying its not accessible, what should I do to get access or at least delete it all so its not taking up my space, Also when I entered my Serial it would not activate because they said its been used to much when only person who uses it is me when I reformat my computer every so often, please help

As for reactivating, you have to call microsoft and have them either give you a new code or reactivate it. There should be a number supplied when you get the error message.

Pay attention to the part about Disable Simple File Sharing (there's a sublink that explains how to do that) because if you don't do that first, none of the rest of the instructions in the article above will work.
