I bought two NICs. Now I may have a chance at getting the other one to work with your help. I have a Realtek 8139B Chipset NIC, and the drivers install fine for it. Windows shows it working properly, and if I unplug the cable it detects that the cable is unplugged and notifies me of it. However, when I try to get on the internet, nothing works. I use Comcast Cable, and DHCP is enabled. I disabled the windows firewall, but nothing changes.

The Data Invalid part.
I have a 3Com card that works great in this computer, no problems installing. When I put it in the other PC, it says that the data is invalid. If I manually install it, it says "The device cannot start. (Code 10)". Is this because I just tried to install manually (picked Network Cards and selected the 3Com and LinkSys NICs.)? Why does it says The data is invalid when windows auto installs on boot-up? I have moved the NICs in all of my 6 PCI slots and the same thing happens. I really need help fast.

Well, I got the 3Com one to work in this pc, but the LinkSys LNE100TX will not. I set Full access in registry to the 3Com and Linksys NICs and reinstalled drivers. I am on the 3Com right now, but the Linksys does not work. I put it in my other PC and it does have a PC Link going on, but it will not renew the IP Address. Does anyone know anything about this NIC? Why does my RealTek 8139B NIC not work? I know people who use this exact card on XP Pro, and it works fine for them. Please Help.
