windows XP remote desktop

I'm trying to figure out how to setup remote desktop so that i can connect and the other person can see what i'm doing. Right now as soon as i connect, the host computer logs out. Is there a way (aside from using remote assistance and MSN messenger) for them to see what I'm doing? Assuming I don't want to install VNC/etc, of course.

That is a negatory. The only way that I've seen the host and another client connecting and seeing/helping you is by using msn messenger/netmeeting sharing.

There's Remote Assistance that allows you to do it. I think that's what you were looking for. Remote Desktop is just a terminal server.
