Was wondering why in xp does the user and pass stay /xxxxx/guest/ where xxxxxx is the computer your trying to connect into. These computers are on my network and I want to specify user and pass when logging into remote computers...

Thanks for all your help

sounds like you should disable "guest" access on your remote computers...then the only way to log on will be with a valid username / pass

To disable to guest access you can do the following

right click "my computer"
Click on "manage"
go to "local users and groups"
then go to "users"
then right click on the "guest account"
click on "properties"
then click "account is diabled"
do a apply ok

that should disable the guest account for you.
