Windows XP purchase question

Hello all,

I've recently purchased Windows XP Home for my main computer after struggling for the last year with Windows ME. I'm going to be installing it after work today. I purchased an OEM version, which simply included the CD and the little tag with the product key. Here's my question. I have another computer that I'd also like to upgrade to XP, but I was wondering if I'll need to fork out the full 100 bucks (or thereabouts) for another full OEM copy of XP. I keep seeing on Pricewatch ads for full versions of XP Home, but that don't include the media. I'm unsure how the activation works for XP, does this mean I can use the CD I've purchased for the second computer as well, and simply using the product tag from the purchased license? I just don't understand what these folks are selling, being that they're calling it a license only. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you purchase a license, it should come with it's own product key. If it doesn't, someone's ripping you. You can use the same media as long as it matches what the license is for - OEM key needs an OEM CD, retail key needs a retail CD, etc.

Ahhh, thank you Bozo1 !! Appreciate the quick reply. That's good news, it should save me a bundle. So as long as I buy an OEM Windows XP Home license, I can just use the license product key with the OEM XP Home CD I just purchased. Thanks again for your help kind sir.
