A friend asked me to fix his e-mail, so I go over start the Windows and load his e-mail(Eudora 5.x) and it says the .pce file is access denied. There are three other user of this computer with different profiles, all have Administrator rights(the computer is not on a network). Out of the four total users One user has a password on their profile. That user is the only one who can run the e-mail program. They have Norton virus scan, which I used, nothing. I went on-line to PC-Cillin and used their house call to run a scan from on-line nothing. Now here is where it gets interesting... On the C: I found a weird folder called 2a3948t98e (it was long and full of ramdom characters and numbers) The subfolders are restricted to every user of the computer. I switched access to shared on the folder to gain access but still can't erase the stupid thing. Anyone had this problem? Any general suggestions?
