My friend just built a computer and is having problems with running programs. I only know the basics so I have no idea what the problem is.
Setup:
2.53Ghz P4 w/ Intel D845PESV mobo
80.3GB IBM HD
PNY Geforce3 Ti500
Windows XP Professional

"Something is really wrong in my comp. When i played warcraft, after a little bit, I recieved an error message about can't find some file. When I play C&C generals, sometimes it just goes back to the desktop and when I hit CRTL+DEL+ALT, it says generals is having technical difficulties. I can't surf pages in internet explorer. It says IE has encountered a prob and needs to close blah blah blah... also the computer resets on its own sometimes even when I just leave it on. Basically everything is all funky. I did the windows update and the service pack."
Any ideas? Is it a hardware or software problem?
