Windows XP Pro Vs Evidence Eliminator

I have a lot of Junk on my HDD. So I installed EE and eversince my OS has been running Slow like Hell.
XP will not shut down,Freezes 9 out of 10 times and cannot go on line I get error message that the screen cannot be displayed. My DSL is working fine becos I can boot to Windows 98 and surf like crazy. By the way I can post this thread Thanks to 98.

Sorry to say this but EE is one of the worst pieces of software I ever used. It crashed my system and that of everyone I know who has used it. You might try restoring system files in SFC (in a dos window) but I doub it will help.
