I had xp installed on my computer untill i got a virus from irc so i then reformatted and reinstalled then my 3d on my geforce 2mx wouldn't work. So i reinstalled and messed with the bios I then got it to work. The other day xp was lagging really bad and i had a lot of junk programs on so i decided to reformat again when i tryed my 3d with 3dmark 2001 se it wouldn't work. But the error was differnt from the first time. It sayed it failed to validate the material a direct x error. I tried reinstalling direct x and it didn't help i changed the settings on my graphics card and tryed numerous drivers. Now i am back to Windows 2000 pro but i miss my xp 🙁. do you guys have any ideas about my problem? I am running a aopen geforce 2mx with tv-out. I searched some forums and found that other people are having this problem but havn't found a fix. I also tried nvmax thinking it might help but it didn't.
