Windows XP Pro. problem

My XP won't boot I've tried last know goog config. I've tried safe boot. On normal boot it gets to screen where it is loading then the screen goes blank and nothing happens. I was just wondering is there any flops that I can reboot XP from. Thanks
 
r u using dual/multi-boot configuration ?
did u install any other OS after XP ?
usually the problem u had comes up because XP's bootloader in the MBR got overwritten by something else
if u install XP on a NTFS partition i suggest you install XP the last...

No I haven't installed any OS after XP. I also get the blue screen like on 98 where it scans the drive because it wasn't shut down right.Thanks
