When I run WXP on Safe Mode, everything seems fine.

but When i run it on regular mode, it freezes..

Mouse moves but nothing else works.

no left or right clicks

nothing nada

it just stops after few seconds I log into desktop

what might be the problem?

PSU?
HDD?
CPU?
MEMORY?

idk.....

help?

If the mouse is still moving the system is not hung in the traditional sense, so this sounds like a software problem. Have you installed anything recently? Did you try to system restore back to before this started?

I tried the restoration.. didn't help

I actually formatted and re-installed WXP and while I was installing all the drivers.. it did again.

so now I am guessing it might be one of the drivers or software like you mentioned.

strip all your expansion cards, disable all peripherals like sound and LAN in the bios. re-add them one by one, and install drivers one by one.
