Windows XP Pro--please help

Whenever I try to install it over my Hp with Windows XP Media Center, it works fine, until I get to the product key. It says its invalid, even though I've read over it 20 times. What is going on?

Call Microsoft..they will ask you for some box information and give you a product key rather easily.
