Windows XP Pro? or Not pro?

I think that I want to get Windows XP...but I can't decide whether to get the normal XP or XP PRO. Is there a huge difference? I know that there is a in price. I have an MSI K8N Neo2 platium. An AMD64 3500+. I play many games, and other things. Would I get a whole lot more out of XP PRO?
 
One difference is that Pro will have an additional two years of support at Windows Update since it's the biz-class version. It also can be a member of a domain, possibly a bonus if you want to VPN to your workplace's domain or something down the road.

Some other potentially-useful Pro-only items: remote desktop, Group Policy Editor (me likey), dual-processor support, encrypting file system and the option of using NTFS Security/Permissions routinely (as opposed to booting to Safe Mode for XP Home).
