Windows XP pro keeps rebooting

I got up this morning and my computer was continually rebooting. It will get to the main desktop and just go black. Then bios post and reboots.

I am running XP pro with all the updates (autoupdate enabled). I can start in safe mode and do anything I need. I have shut down all my start-up programs but no joy.

I run AVG anti virus and Microsoft spyware blocker.

Windows updates are automatic.

I have not installed anything new lately.

I turned off auto restarts and get a bluescreen that says:

"PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA"

*** STOP: 0x00000050 (0x8980561B, 0x00000000, 0x80633D07, 0x00000000)

Beginning dump of physical memory
Physical Memory dump complete,

I can look at the event viewer and find the following message:

An error was detected on device \Device\CdRom0 during a paging operation

I disconnected the CdRom which was no help.

Any help please???
