Windows XP Pro installation problems

I'm trying to reformat my hard drive and reinstall my copy of windows xp pro...I've done this many times in the past, but for some reason now I keep getting errors saying that certain files are missing when its copying setup files onto the HD from the disc. I popped the disc into my laptop and the files are definetely there, and I also made a copy of the disc, just to make sure it wasn't scratches on the disc. I used both my DVD-ROM drive and DVD-RW drive, so I don't think the drive is the problem. Any ideas?

Hmm...I seem to have fixed my own problem. I was just playing around and took 2 sticks of memory out so only my 512mb stick was in and it worked...weird.
