Windows Xp Pro, how to share Program Files?

I had shared Program Files under Xp Home. Plan to upgrade to Xp Pro, but Program Files folder is restricted; although, sub folder can be shared, the program does start, but not read data properly. What should I do ?

It is a bookeeping program, all data store in one computer, also run program for that computer. Not connect to internet, so not much risk involved.
No way to share it under Xp Pro?

programs are (usually) much more then a group of files, there are registry, locked files, and temporary files required, just sharing the directory on a modern program usually won't work.
