windows xp pro/home

What, exactly, is the difference between the two? I need to buy one or the other and plan to buy oem whichever I decide on, but I'd like to know if pro offers any additionial incentive for someone who wants to use it for primarily gaming.

Something I don't see them mentioning there: XP Pro being the business-market version, it has longer security-update support, out to Dec 31 2008 IIRC, versus June 30 2007 for XP Home (at Windows Update, I mean). If you think you might keep it in service that long, that could be a little perk to Pro.
