Alright here's the problem..

I have two different operating systems, one is Windows XP Professional Edition and the other one is Windows Home Edition. My windows professional edition is pretty messed up since it required a lot of drivers for my computer and unfortunately I don't have the drivers cd that came with my gateway computer....So I installed the Home Edition that came with my computer and manually downloaded all the drivers from the internet...

Now my issue is....
Whenever I boot it tells me to pick either home edition to boot in or professional edition.....Obviously I pick Home Edition all the time.....The main problem here is it looks like all the Installations I do are being installed in my second drive which has like 20 gigs....When it should be installing everything on my c:\ drive which is 50 gigs.....So I figured my Windows XP Professional might be the cause of this.....

How can I get rid of Windows XP Professional and get Windows Home Edition to recognize my c:\ drive to be my primary hard disk where everything needs to be installed too...

That doesn't make sense at all. The drivers for home/pro are identical.

Format the XP Pro partition using disk management which is located in the administrative tools. Your XP Home installation sounds like it is on the d: partition, so unless you change the path during a program installation it will default to the d: (until you do a clean install, or hack the registry as described here).

If I format the XP Pro Partition wouldn't that mean it would delete my entire C:\ DRive with everything in it? And Yes My Windows Home Edition is Running from my D:\ Drive...

Yes, if you format the XP Pro drive everything is as good as gone. Can you access C: from XP Home? If so pull what you need off of it.

Personally I would start fresh, completely. XP Pro and XP Home use the same drivers, so I don't see what the underlying problem is.
