"After you have completed the download registration process, you will receive an e-mail message with a link to the download page. On the download page, you will see a link to the Setup file and a Product Key for the software you wish to install. The file will be in ISO format and must be burned to a CD before you can install the software on your computer.

n the Email i got an order id that is 26 digits long. not 25.

You answered your own question and a Product Key for the software you wish to install. You must have missed the key when you did the download.

When I downloaded the software, I was given my product within the email, not on the download page as that message implies. If you downloaded the new v1218, chances are you did not receive a product key at all. Most everyone has been using the key they received when they downloaded the previous v1069. If you did not download this previous version, you'll have to search for a rouge key out there somewhere. Not sure if it's "legal" to Microsoft or not, but it is a free beta, so I'm sure no one will hunt you down 🙂.

Are there any main glitches to XP 64 anymore or would y'all suggest using it as a primary OS?
Head over to planetamd64.com and check out their forums. From the short time I used it, I had no issues at all, but I did absolutely nothing with it. No more than browsing the internet and installing some drivers. Nero and Ultramon both worked fine, as those are the only two progs I used.

There was an issue with Windows Media Player and the latest nVidia drivers, not sure of any others though.
