Windows XP Pro 64 bit

I was thinking of getting Windows XP Pro 64 bit with Free Vista upgrade from Newegg for 140 dollars. Do you think I should wait for Vista 64bit instead. I figure it out. With the Free Vista upgrade it will come out cheaper than buying the full version.
What do you guys think?

I'll take a guess that most of us think you should use the OS forums.

Also, dont bother with XP 64-bit.
You can read up on all its shortcomings in the OS forum.

I would assume so. I don't think it would downgrade it to 32 bit vista.
I know it would run 32 bit application but I don't think it would downgrade a 64 bit to 32 bit. I don't know if it's even possible. is it?
